Guys i have an iPhone 4 and my sim is a regular sim. So I know i can cut it down but the chip of the sim is bigger than other sims.

The right sim is a regular size one i cut down and works fine

The middle is my contract sim that i want to cut down

The left one is an old sim i found that has a big chip that i cut down but don't have any service :/

Here's a comparison with both sims in the tray

If possible, I would pop into the nearest shop for your network and ask them if they'll give you a micro SIM. O2 were happy to give me one free of charge. Saves you cutting the SIM down and potentially making a mess of it.

Just cut the normal sim down as much as you can so it fits inside the micro sim holder making sure most of the chip is intact, it will work fine as i just used my micro sim as a guide to cut around my normal sim and it works fine.

It works just fine using scissors like i did. Cut it using the microsim as a reference. Keep the surround incase you need to make it full size again. There is a tool out there that cuts it perfect also.
