Iphone home button not always working

My girlfriends Iphone (3gs) home button does not always work, sometimes have to press it 3 or 4 times to actually register and then the music controls come up...

Would it be possible to take this in to the apple store and get it changed or will it be down to O2 to sort out?

Its still in warranty obviously.

You'll be able to take it into an Apple store and get it replaced there and then.

Cool, I thought that might be possible, what about the content on the device?

I guess backing everything up and resetting it before going would be the best option...
