iPhone - how to add mp3 tracks to one folder and play them one after the other?

Probably an easy answer to this but I'm hopeless with iTunes.

Here's what I want to do. I want to have 14 or so individual mp3 songs from different artists on my iPhone 4 so I can use it at the gym plugged into a docking station. It will play through the individual mp3s one after the other. I cannot for the life of me, work out how to achieve this. I've tried adding a new playlist folder and then dropping the mp3s into it. But it won't then play the tracks one after the other. Tried switching shuffle all on but that means it randomly plays various tracks from my phones music collection from other albums.

Someone put me out of misery!!

Within iTunes I created a 'New Playlist Folder' then added the individual mp3's to it. It shows up in the 'Playlist' folder as 'MusicMix1'. Now, say I have two mp3's within this 'MusicMix1' playlist by the Foo fighters. Open the MusicMix1 playlist and it shows the individual artists. Both the Foo Fighters mp3s seem to be within another folder called 'Foo Fighters Greatest Hits'. If I go into there and click on 'The Pretender' it will play. The other Foo's mp3 in there is 'Wheels' which it will play after it finishes 'The Pretender' if I have Shuffle turned on. But then it stops playing anything. It won't go back and play mp3's from the other artists within my Playlist. Does that make sense? If I switch on 'Shuffle All' the iphone plays music randomly from every album I have loaded on the phone, but not just from within this 'MusicMix1' playlist folder?
