iPhone, how to set up email please?

Hi can someone give me some guidance please.

Step by step would be nice.

My sister has a iphone. Not the iPhone 4, but the one that looks like the itouch.

I tried today to set up her email but it didnt seem to work.

I do not have access to it so whatever you tell me I shall have to explain it to her as she has now gone back down south.

her email is [email protected]

I know her password

and the network she is on is Orange.

I do not know if this can be set up remotely. I only have experiences with Blackberries.

Do you have the server settings for wanadoo at all? Also do they allow email clients?

i would think wanadoo would work.

I have it set up on my Blackberry and that is a wanadoo account on mine.

Then it should be a case of going settings > mail > add account > other > add mail account.

Then full out u/n and password, should be straightforward.

got that bit, yes it is straight forward. But i need to put things in like incoming mail server, out going mail server etc. that is the bit I seem to have problems with.

Just thought there would be someone on here who knew and used a wanadoo email account and can look at there settings and let me know what i need to do etc.

no way to set it up remotely like you can with a Blackberry BIS. ?

When setting up, try to use IMAP over POP3. Just makes email much more usable.

If not then turn on the option to keep messages on server
