iPhone insurance cold calls

A piece of advice fella's. I'd phone o2 customer services a day or two after your Iphone's been activated just to check what's on your account. I work in customer services in the Cardiff office and I've lost count of the times where CPW have added bolt-ons or not put the tariff through correctly or the like and customer's are getting hundreds of pounds of data charges. If you are thinking about taking out insurance my advice is to ask us to put it on for you when you ring up, at £7.50 it's cheaper than CPW and if you ever need to make a claim you only need to ring customer services and we get you through to the insurance team (Not that I'm on commission)

I bought mine direct from Apple and got the insurance scam call. I just made them confirm who exactly was calling me, then told them to remove me from their database and not call again. I believe they are legally required to comply.

I've had this with my contract I just stop them. "are you trying to sell me insurance" "you are aren't you, not interested, go to someone else, have a nice day" *click*.
No point in even talking to them.

Had a random cold call from a blocked number also within the first 24 hours of getting the phone, didnt know what it was about as I hung up on her before she finished her sentence. Never had one since.
