Can anyone recommend me a good ipod/iphone dock for playing music?

I have been looking around for one that will give reasonable sound quality. Bose used to do one for about £150 but they no longer make that model and i think their cheapest is now £200.

If anyone can find me a decnt one for a max of £150 that would be a great help.

Have a look at the Klipsch ones. My sister has one, can't remember the model and there are two types iirc. Bought from richer sounds.

Was around £100, so a lot under budget. Sounds good though!

I picked up a bose sounddock portable of the bay about a year ago for £120, just need to keep your eyes peeled. Best sounding dock ive heard yet without spending silly money.

Yeah go for the Bose one - Awesome - I used it for my daughers birthday party in a big village hall and one of my friends asked how I had linked it up to the big speakers system - I lolled and told them I hadn't and they were like :o

If you can afford the extra go for Bose dock, I had one when I had a iPod and the sound was amazing, it'd fill the room easily but sadly it had no aux input on the model I had so had to get rid :(

How much are the B&W Zepelins?

I've go to a store like Richer Sounds and see if they'll let you try some out. Remember with Bose you'll be paying a lot for the name and may not nessecerily be getting great value. Especially at this price point.

Is space an issue? You could get a stereo amp and speakers with an ipod dock which would likely sound very, very good.

Otherwise i'd put money on the Yamaha PDX31 sounding good, although i've not heard it.

You will also be paying for the name with Bose too.

Not had a listen to many myself, anyway as with all audio related buys it's personal opinion as to what sounds best, as people have said try to have a listen to a few and decide which one you like.
