iPhone Issues

I got a Samsung Omnia (i900) a few weeks back and at first loved it! As time passed by, the novelty faded and I quickly began to realise that the interface wasnt that great for me when it came to inputting text so thought I would give the iPhone a bash!

My iPhone came today and immediately I loved the way it functioned - much more finger friendly than the alleged 'iPhone Killer' however, as quick as I began to love it, I began noticing bugs - a major one at that!

No matter what I do, whether it being SMS'ing, Light web browsing or playing 'iPint' I'm noticing regular crashes to the main menu and also the odd restart! I've tried reinstalling the system but that hasnt made any difference and I'm already on the latest version

Anyone got any advice for me?

I assume the software version reported by iTunes(v2.1) is the firmware?

I have the 3g version and take it thats what your on?
I have seen the phone only crash while accessing itunes or the app store through my phone not when connecting to the computer, i have thus done a complete back up and its been fine since, i would probably recommend this before sending it back as I dont think many others are experienceing such high levels of erm....crashing!

Went and saw Apple today and they replaced my phone with a new one, fingers crossed that#s sorted things out!

That's a result. May be the firmware so you may experience the same problems.
