Turn the phone on it's side and we have stereo vision..

The application is my first native iPhone application. Ok, so it's slightly more complicated than Hello World with views, threading, wifi and other bits and bobs.

I'm currently working on touch control for steering and pan/tilt.

I don't understand.

What is the purpose of this? What does seeing in stereo actually mean/do?

Well two fold:
a) get me used to the iPhone development - for other iPhone apps
b) the underlying library can and will be used for robotics vision application on OSX

To be honest this particular application, as it stands, has little in terms average person usefulness just a bit of fun.

The next application will be a shopping/cookery app as all the others out there are missing essential functionality..
