Iphone naming problems

Noticed a problem syncing my phones earlier

The iTunes name isn't the same as the windows name

Any ideas if there's any work around in correcting the names?

Double click on your iPhones name in the left hand "devices" list in iTunes.

You can then rename it.

Tried that. Renames perfectly in iTunes but the name doesbt change in windows

Settings > General > About > Name. Change it in there and it should sort things with windows.

Tried that too and also rename in Windows - Neither worked.

Had a look on the Apple forum and it looks like a few people are having the same problem.
