Crikey! I ordered an 8 gig Iphone which was in stock and they did the usual credit check and I failed. I haven't taken the failure too seriously as I have just moved in to a different address. I have only just started using the credit cards over the last three months and so I really don't have that much of a credit history. I don't have any defaults with payments either. The thing is O2wanted a £300 deposit for the order to go ahead. Now bear in mind I had ordered this 8 gig Iphone which was due to arrive Friday and I had just agreed to pay the refundable deposit only then to be told that the model I had ordered was no longer in Stock.
The situation is absolutely crazy.
If I reorder could I avoid paying the £300 upfront by using the Mrs details (with her permission) and then after the initial payment make the repayments for the contract from my own account.
