iPhone On-The-Go playlist

Is it only me, but the On-The-Go playlist for my iphone doesn't sync?

My iPod syncs it's on the go playlists no problem but the iPhone just wipres it and doesn't leave it on the PC

Is it because i don't Sync my entire music collection (It's too big)? Or is there just a bug with iPhones?

I wish Apple had included 2 things:
1. Make your own permanent playlists from the iPhone
2. Stream from iTunes on a PC to your iPhone.

Maybe in a firmware update, eh?

I cannot test the sync abilities of the iPhone for the On-the-go playlists right now, but here is an interesting link regarding streaming to an iPhone:

isn't it just intended for creating playlists on the fly on the phone itself ? That's what I use it for anyway.

It didn't seem to sync back from mine either.

Rich - On-the-go playlists made with iPod Classic/Nano etc sync back to iTunes when you connect it the next time. Helpful if you've made a decent playlist whilst out and about
