iPhone optimised charging query?

I have an iPhone 14 and I cleared my significant locations history under privacy and also turned the option off.

I note now that optimised charging for my iPhone 14 doesn’t work.

Looking at the support article, (About Optimised Battery Charging on your iPhone – Apple Support (UK) - it says that you need location settings to be turned on.

Do we think me turning off significant locations and clearing the history will have stopped this working?

And now I’ve re-enabled it all do we think optimised charging will work once again as the system learns my significant locations and charging routine?

Yes, it learns when it thinks you're at home and sets up the optimised charging accordingly.

What they need to do is get rid of the 80% nonsense and set 100% as 80%!

Okay thanks, I signed out of iCloud too so maybe that's why?
