Iphone pay monthly upgrade.

I have just over a month left on my 3g contract and Im paying £45 a month.
I know I would be able to upgrade the phone to a 3GS but would I also be able to change to the iphone simplicity contract as well???

Nope, to use a simplicity contract you require a PAYG iPhone. If you get a contract iPhone you have the contract packages only.

If you want to keep your current phone you can get an iphone simplicity tariff. It's £20 a month and you get 1200 texts 600 mins unlimited web and wifi and the voice mail. It's not on the website but if you phone they can swap you over.

I would assume that for them to give you a 3GS you would need to sign another contract which means you wouldn't be able to get the simplicity deal. If you paid the full amount for a 3GS up front you could swap your 3G contract over to simplicity and use the SIM.

If I get my phone upgrade from O2 (which I am due in the next couple of weeks) then can I change my tariff to that one or do I have to sign a new 18 month contract when I upgrade the phone??

I'm pretty sure if you accept an upgrade you will need to sign up for another 18 months.

Thought as much. Im going to wait until the end of my contract and see how much they can offer me a 3GS 32gb for then
