iPhone PAYG limitations

Tempted to get an iPhone and use a PAYG sim card from O2. Can anyone advise the limitations of using this method? I see from another thread that you don't get Edge, only GPRS.

Does Visual Voicemail work for example?

No visual voicemail, EDGE (Only GPRS), no Cloud Wi-Fi.

That's about it.

Jailbreak it to use any o2 sim card, unlock to use any other network sim card.

Its a limitation for me

. I cannot get my email on O2 Pay and Go to work. I have tried everything, and looked on numerous forums for a solution. Can you receive your email through GPRS?
