So the default app Photos on the iPhone (at least mine, 6s plus) appears to have an annoying bug. When the phone is held horizontally, the aspect ratio of photos taken on anything bar the camera of the iPhone itself appear zoomed in unless they are taken/formatted in 16:9, the ratio of the full screen itself (for 6s at 1920-1080). 3:2 photos are all zoomed in and you have to zoom in further then back out again to be able to see the photo how it's intended to be viewed. What's more annoying, the sh**y iPhone camera itself correctly displays 4:3 photos with black bars on the side.
This video I found on a forum shows it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=Oktfcl86G-U&app=desktop
In the first image on the video it's zoomed in ignoring the 3:2 ratio to fill the screen. The user then has to zoom in further and back out again to get it to show at 3:2. Any reason why they would want a 3:2 image to show as 16:9 yet there own camera to correctly show at 4:3? Don't say to encourage you to use the iPhone camera
Any workaround?
