iPhone portable charger

I've been caught out a few times now away from a socket when my iPhone has died. Has anyone tried any of those portable chargers? Smaller, the better.

Jivo Lifeline doesn't last very long. One, one and a half charges if you're lucky. That's all I can add really

Not much use here but what about an iPhone Case which is an extra battery for extra juice?

I can't recall the name of it for the life of me.

Not so sure there is one for the iPhone 4 though....
