iPhone problem: Stuck in bluetooth?

Hey guys,

As of last night, my iphone is stuck in bluetooth speaker. I get no audio, no call sound, not even ringtone or from the ipod bit of the phone, and no matter what option i choose, if i use the volume rocker it says bluetooth above it. Bluetooth is turned off completely.

If i turn it on and sync it with my bluetooth headset, the headset becomes active etc but still no sound is passed through

I've done a software reset from the general > reset section, which fixed it for an hour but it's done it again now and the reset isnt working

Firmware is 2.2.1, the phone is jailbroken but has been for like 3 months. Took it into o2 and they want to just send it off, but i thought i'd see what you guys said first, before reverting it back to unjailbroken and sending it away.

Take it to the Apple store mate, i had a simliar software problem and they just replaced my phone there and then.

how old was it? I have a mate who works at the Arndale branch so i should be able to get it done, but it's 9 months old now? O2 just wanted to send it away

Yeah it's got a 1 year apple warrenty so you should be fine mate Mine was about 8 months old and they just swapped it for a new one!

booked an appointment with a "genius" tonight at the trafford centre, he concluded after restoring it again that it was bollocksed and gave me a shiny new one For some reason i hadnt thought of the apple store, good call mate.

Brand new 2G one? even though its jailbroken ?

Are you on contract too ?

3G raymond, and id restored it so it wasnt jailbroken One of the first 3gs was mine.

8.5 months into contract.
