iPhone problem.

Hello all.

My iPhone has started playing up today, it basically thinks the headphones are in all the time, even when they aren't meaning no sound and I have to use loudspeaker to answer calls

Will this be covered in the warranty as I haven't had it 6 months yet, also what are apple phone repairs like as I had to post my MacBook away for four weeks :/

Try plugging them in the out again.

Failing that, reset it, hold down Home + On/Off switch.

I have done both of those several times in the last week but it keeps happening whenever I use my headphones, surely that's a fault ?

Have you got any Q-tips, give it a wipe around in there, might have some gunk stopping it. I had a similar problem and that solved it.

Is it unlocked? If so, starting again may solve the problem.

If not I would think it would need to go back to Apple. Might get a v2 out of it!

Yeah I'll try cleaning it! Its not unlocked though, I'm a good lad

Failing all of that, do a Restore in iTunes.

Yeah, I had to do a restore... twice. :rolleyes:
