Iphone questions

Hi i was wondering if anyone on here could answer a few questions for me regarding said phone

1) How good is this phone after the novelty value wears off?

2) If i buy it online will i automatically be entered into a contract?

3) How quick is the internet on it compared to a N95 8GB

4) Is it worth getting the 16GB?

Looks like i'll be getting one of these bad boys as soon as i sell my N95.Just to clarify the contract thing,what i meant to say was if i buy the phone in the shop they only have my bank details but if i buy it online they have everything they need to enter me into a contract

Quick question (again)

I'm off out to purchase my iphone in an hour or so and i was just wondering if you can pay with a normal bank card or does it have to be a credit card?

Right i've just come back from town adter buying my iphone

The only problem is that i couldn't be bothered waiting in the 02 shop so i went to Carphone Warehouse instead.

They made me sign an agreement and i'm just wondering what will happen if i jailbreak my phone?

Will they be able to charge me or shut down my phone?

Argh Carphone Warehouse suckkk.... should have got it from O2 tbh they have a better returns policy.

Don't worry they made me fill in loads of stuff, just related to when you return your phone etc

Doubt they will charge unless you signed up for insurance, don't think they have the power to turn your phone off

I was only worried i got a phone call saying they were going to put me on a £35 a month contract when i've already got a £25 a month one on the go

Ok another couple of quick q's if nobody minds!

I have version 1.1.2 but when i plug it in tio itunes it says v 1.1.4 is available.Is it safe to just download that with a jailroken phone???

Also i have something waiting in the installer is it safe to install or will it brick my phone???

Lastly how do you disconnect from the net i always seem to have an "E" up beside the carrier name.

Having the E there isn't a problem, it's meant to be there all the time.

If you download 1.1.4 you'll need to re-jailbreak your iPhone, which is so easy it's scary.

So i can just plug it in and download it or do i have to restore it first???
