iPhone quick question

I've got an iPhone V1 and I'm using V2.0 firmware, I'm using my Vodafone sim in it without any problems.

There is just one annoying thing that I haven't worked out, how do you set up the voicemail number (in the case of Vodafone it's 121) so you can just press the voicemail icon on the bottom right when you are in the phone menu.

You can't. I *believe* special servers are needed to run visual voicemail (which only O2 have). Don't take this as gospel though.

That sounds about right, it's just strange there isn't some way to link a number to the voicemail icon

You say this, but with O2 iPhone contracts you no longer have traditional voicemail.

Thanks very much for the info, it worked a treat. It took three goes, for some reason the first two times it said command not recognised, I was interupted by a call and tried it again when I finnished the call and it worked first time
