They have free wifi at the gym i go to... so i tried to connect to it once. It turned out to be a system whereby you get a code from reception and you put that into the webpage that gets set as a temporary default homepage and then you're fine to connect for 24 hours, then it expires...

so, the problem is certainly can't be bothered to get a code every time, but whenever i'm there it latches on to that wifi network and then (cuz i dont put a code in) screws up all the internet connectivity of the iPhone...

so basically, how can I remove it as a known network? I can't find the option anywhere?

EDIT: after typing this I had an idea, i think i've got to wait until i'm there next, then click the network and choose "forget this network"... if this isn't right please feel free to correct me :)

You need to be in range of the wifi connection in question (no need for the code, the phone just has to be in range.) Press the blue arrow next to the name and select, 'forget this network,' and it will stop joining it automatically.
