iPhone Restore from iCloud Account When Oversea

Hi guys,

I'm in Cyprus just now and having issue with my iPhone 6 and decided to restore from my iCloud account. However I can see my device and latest back-up but just not able to restore from it.

Anyone able to help?

It doesn't matter where in the world you are to be able to restore your iPhone. Have you reset your iPhone,and passed through the activation process?

Yep, both phone and iCloud reset to my account. I can see my two weeks old back-up (not greyed out) but just not able to select it!

Are you connected via Wifi?

Yes, I am. I've tried both WiFi and wired to MacBook methods but no joy.

Just wonder it's got something to do with my carrier? I'm with EE back home in UK and default to Cyta-Voda here.
