iPhone sim doesn't work in other phones?

So i currently have a sim card that is on contract and should be in an iPhone. I've now sold the iPhone and have just a sim card. I've tried putting in into other phones such as a Nokia as well as others and they don't work, the phones are even unlocked to work with any network. I've noticed that the sim card is smaller than a regular one so i assume that's the problem.

The sim card is on the Three network. Does anyone have any suggestions for either what phone i can put it in other than an iPhone or shall i go to the store/contact them and ask for a regular sized sim card? Any charges?

Google micro SIM adapter, can be had for a small price.

Micro SIM is non-proprietary and was industry designed but don't let that stop you, better bash in those non believers at every chance.

If you put it in an adapter, it should work without any problems.

Yeah you should have no problem if you whack it in an adaptor. I cut my standard size SIM up to fit in my iPhone 4, and now it nestles perfectly in my GS2 using an adaptor
