Guys,
i know a lot of iphone owners have suffered with speaker issues.
Not sure if this is typical or slightly different.
Iphone 4 (not 4s)
Get sound when it rings and the usual clicks, beeps can be heard during normal phone operation.
If i ring someone i can't hear the ringing tone on the iphone.
Once a call is connected, i can't hear the person on the other end and they can't hear me, so i guess the mic is fubar too?.
Took it to a local shop who usually fix speaker issues, but said they couldn't fix this one as it was both(?) speakers and mic (i think anyway)?
Also the screen has been replaced in the past due to it being smashed, so they said Apple were unlikely to touch it under warranty.
Anyone got any proper advice about what we can do with it?
It's a business phone, which (stupidly) isn't insured.
