Iphone sync issue??

Hi all over the last few days im getting an issue with syncing my Iphone. I connect via the usb lead and it coneects and starts charging, but for some reason it keeos giving an errror on Itunes saying it cant sync.
ANy idea's whats going on?

Has you tried another cable/computer to sync your device?

Cable is not very old and it normally works ok. Ive not got another cable to try. Im just updating my ipod to try that on here

Try doing a hard reset on the phone by holding the home and power buttons together until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

This cured my syncing issue.
