iphone sync prob

Does anyone know why i cant get my 2.0.1 first gen iphone to sync?? ive hooked it up to 2 diff pc's now and used many USB ports and it says syncing for 5 secs then just returns to the home screen both on the iphone and itunes....Is there anything i can do to solve this?

try reset? (iPhone - settings/general/reset)

make sure its not on "airplane mode" too

hmm it wasnt in airplane mode and ive tried resetting the phone still no joy

Your not using Nod32 are you ? seem to remember there being some issues with the sync and this virus checker.

was chatting to a friend on MSN and he told me to check the box under the music tab to sync music....as it was unticked i ticked it and it syncs now
