iPhone - Text Messaging Information

Would really like to be able to set my iPhone's Messages so in future it states the time when my message was sent and the text from 'X' was sent just like half the phones on the market.

Within the setting's is this possible, If so could somebody run me through this for example Settings > General > etc..

It's possible on iMessage. Settings > Messages > send read receipt.

The iPhone already puts timestamps on messages? It just doesn't show them when you exchange several messages with the same person in quick succession.

If you JB there's a tweak to enable this.

Cheers for the responses, I figured that but I would like each text shame you cannot enable this without JB.. which I would prefer not to do as I can't be bothed with the extra hassle.
