iPhone to iPad tethering ?

Hey all,

So after getting my new shiny iPad which I am really happy with I was just wondering is it possible to tether my iPad to my iPhone to get wireless internet ?

I did a bit of googling most places saying flat out NO but I saw a few that mentioned with OS 4.2 it might be possible.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried this or know of a way to do it ?

I will mention its not overally important for me to have it but would be nice

Will need to JB. There is a App called MiFi I think which allows you to do it.

The app is called mywi and you can jailbreak 4.2 but will need to have your phone connected to your pc everytime you restart to enable the jailbreak again, best to wait for the untethered jailbreak

I use a MiFi device with my wifi only iPad. It works a treat.

MyWi is great and well worth the $20 or so it costs.

Vodafone say that my 5GB tethering plan is incompatible with the iPhone. MyWi disagrees.

Does it work for Iphone4 ? I noticed it says for 3GS but no mention of the 4

works fine on iphone 4, got it myself with no problems
