Is there an app without jailbreaking that can put a todo list on the lock screen? (where the image of the world usually resides)

Having to always go into an app just leads me to forget what I need to do! If I could have it on the lock screen it would be the first thing to see before actually using the phone.

This is something I really like to know too... Also to have notify how many SMS and Email there is waiting on the lockscreen too be handy

Done has the ability of what you're after but it's not on the App Store yet :p

You can do what you're after with any to do apps if you take a screenshot of it by pressing both sleep and home buttons. The screenshot will appear in the Photos app and you can set it as a wallpaper which is what Done does but in slightly easier way and offers different features in comparison to other to do apps :p

Its so lame there is nothing to sync your tasks to Outlook on the iPhone. I tried toodleoo or whatever it was called but it was lots of messing.

That's not really a solution, lets be honest. Doing that every time you need to add/remove something from the list? No ta!

I just want something i can jot some bits&bobs, it will overlay it nicely on my 60th Anniversary Dior Couture Ad background, which upon randomly checking my phone will prompt me to go "Oh yeah, I'll do that now". Which it seems nothing can currently do, so I guess I'll go back to forgetting everything :D

Well, I'm afraid you won't find anything what you're after because of Apple's restrictions and hence why I gave you a workaround. If you don't like it, looks like the closest thing is IntelliScreen which you have to jailbreak your iPhone for. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to display to dos by looking at its feature list :p
