On the last two occassions I have received a call-at the end of the call; especially when the caller ends my Iphone goes blank for anything between 20 30 seconds. Is this a fault or maybe is it going in to stand-by mode? I haven't got a clue with only just having this and I wonder if it was simply a common occurrance? When the Iphone does kick back in to life everything functions as normal.

No. I was stuck on one occasion as a call I was making requested I leave a message which I didn't want to do. I therefore removed the phone from my face to look for the slide or option to cancel and the phone was still completely blank with the voice mail still operating from the "other side". I have just been reading a little about this and one or two people are claiming it could be the proximity sensor or even the case cover I am using blocking/covering the sensor. I shall have to try it without the cover. Interesting point about it locking when the call is over. I'll need to check this out so as to know whether to return it. Thanks.
