I own an IPhone 3GS on non-jailbroken IOS 5.0. I am now out of contract and requested for O2 to unlock my phone which they apparantly arrange free of charge within 14 days or so.
I also wish to upgrade to IOS 5.0.1 and jailbreak it.
Does anyone know enough about the official unlock process to advise if it is linked to the jailbreaking process at all? In other words, is there anything I should be wary of? Should I get it unlocked before the jailbreak, after, or does it just not matter.
