Last year I purchased an iPhone 4s on eBay. The seller sold the handset as unlocked and the phone has worked from that time with an o2 sim without a hitch.
I have now bought an iPhone 6 from the members market and wish to give my old handset to my mother whom is with EE. Now, I placed the EE sim into the 4s and it locked.
After a live chat session with o2 it appears that they will not unlock my 4s because although I have a sim only contract with them, I did not purchase the handset from them.
What options do I have?
