Iphone video format

im trying to convert a file taken from a webcam which is wmv
to a format that will work if i mail it to an iphone via the internet
so far no joy
tried converting it to mp4
doesnt work
can someone specifically tell me what to convert it to

What did you use to convert it?

You need to use an app like Handbrake or Videora.

used both of these, no joy
anything else
or is it the lousy iphone do u think

does it run ok via itunes ?

mp4 should be fine, transferred vids in that format before without problem.

Handbrake has a profile for the iphone, did you use this?
