iphone wont start!

Hi,

I replaced a iphone 3GS Batterie. all worked fine. then i had to take it apart again to replace the wifi.
But this time all i get is the batterie logo showing it low in red, and the lighting bolt when pluged in! i have had in on charge for ages now. all tho it shows it to be charging, it dont charge! also i cant turn it on.
so i done a restore via itunes.
The apple logo came up showing it's restoring.
But when it finished, nothing happend. so still wont start up.. just shows the batterie logo!

Anyone got any idea

All you can do it try and reseat all the cables/connectors sadly.

Take it apart, clean all connections and carefully put it back together again. Sounds like something isn't making contact properly, and that could well be because of grease from your fingers.

It was the new batterie! it was nackerd. put in another and worked

But the volume on the side wont work now lol
