iPhone3G as music player in home and car ?

Hello,

Right i am planning on getting the iPhone3G 16Gb on 02 on the £35 a month contract and paying £155 for the phone

My plan is to roll 3 devices into 1 with the help of the iPhone3G and wonder if anyone else does this and to see what you lot think of the idea

Gonna be using the iPhone3G as a mobile phone for a start makes sense.

Then i also want to use the iPhone3G as my home music library/player, get myself a nice docking station

Then also using my iPhone3G for car for music playing, no more CD's all music located on the iPhone3G

Does this seem like a good idea ? work out cheaper and easier i think.

Not sure what sound dock to go for yet had a look at a few, one thats going to work with the iPhone3G for a start lol the B&W does look good and got great reviews but at nearly £400 its a lot of money. There the BOSE sound dock series 2 at £200 which also looks good.

Get the phone first then look at getting the dock next

16Gb would be more than enough for me
