Iphone's Call Forwarding

Anyone know how to do away with the ever so irritating request message to "Dismiss call forwarding", every time you make an outgoing call?

Tried turning it off in the iPhone settings? I don't get it

And I have call forwarding off.

That's the thing, it is off in Settings.

I can't believe others don't get it(?) and don't find it frustrating to have to press 'Dismiss call forwarding' on every call!

I used to get this, never could turn it off.

Is yours jailbrake'd?

Mine was and it did it, its not now and its fine!

Well could very well be!

Had three iPhones:
1. Started with 1.1.4 jailbroken then at some point between that and 2.2 it started
2. Started from 2.2.1 jailbroken and it did it IIRC.
3. Started from 2.2.1, not jailbroken doesn't do it.

Might aswell try!

Would be helpful if you could post how you did it - considering a number tried to help but were just unsuccessful - would be useful in case someone else has the issue.

A number? I see only a single member giving a considered answer. Besides, a google search will find this with reasonable ease - despite the fact I often start searching on forums.

With all due respect, I don't wish to sound rude, but if you needed assistance and posted, why not make it simpler for the next person who may struggle with the same problem? Well if the phone has to be jailbroken then I'm not particularly interested simply because I have no interest in jailbreaking my phone. I just like the thought of solutions being shared, but no matter.

OK, I only provided a simple answer, but when you've met as many stupid people as I have, you have to assume the easiest solutions have often been overlooked.
