iPhoto Exporting.

I want to export my iPhoto Library to a folder and put it on my external HDD as a backup, the problem is I don't know what setting to choose to not loose image quality.

I don't know if I should export them as JPEGS and choose the maximum image quality setting, or if I should pick original or current (what is the difference between the last two?)

Any help would be appreciated.

Open Finder and click on Pictures (under Places) then drag the iPhoto library to your external HD.

Will that keep everything in the exact same quality as they were when I added them?
