I'm sure by now quite a few people will have seen the beebs got another beta build of the iplayer up now (http://beta.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/) which boasts a better interface, really
, and added "social networking" etc, etc. I find it ironic however, given that bandwidth is the biggest issue for most people, that they've omitted subscriptions and the new iplayer desktop from the preceding.
Basically now when you click download as opposed to stream you also have the option of downloading all subsequent episodes while in the desktop preferences you can opt for subscriptions to be downloaded between 00:01-07:00. If you're one of the people who use a capped isp with unlimited night-time downloads, I just though I'd give you a heads-up.
Oh and they're going to start aggregating stuff from channel 4, so hopefully most of my tv will now be ready to watch in the mornings
Edit: I may nee to buy a bigger hd now...
