When using the iPlayer app through my TV, my AV Amp switches to Dolby digital for a pseudo surround, for example, if you are watching the news, dialogue will go through centre channel.
When on the HTPC, with Windows set to 5.1, and watching iPlayer through web browser, everything goes through L and R channels with the amp unable to "upmix".
Is this a web browser thing or something else?
