iPod 4th Gen "Click Wheel"

The battery has come to the end of its usable life in the above ipod.
On eBay, there are supposedly OEM ones and Lion 30%+ extra ones, anyone got any experience with changing batteries in ipods?

Also was thinking of getting OEM as I don't want it to explode on me, but how OEM these are I don't know.

Any help appreciated.

I did it some years ago, I think it was a G2 of G3 iPod. Quite easy in actually fact, just take your time and don't force anything. Just follow the instruction that should come with the replacement battery.
