iPod 6th gen Nano clock help.

Hi I got one of these with the apple replacement scheme. I quite liked it so bought a watch strap. How do I get the clock to work? I open the app up but the first thing that always shows is what songs playing or even when I'm not playing it's showing what song is paused on. Really annoying.

Go to Settings, then General, then Date & Time. Scroll down to Time on Wake and flip the switch to the ON position.
