Ipod Advice!

OK I'm new to Ipods but have just go a new car >> Here << which has an ipod interface.

I used to have a sony HD-NW5 20Gb player which I thought was great, unfortunately it was stolen from work

Is the 30Gb player the one I need? Not bothered about photos or video!

What's the real life battery life on these and what do people think are the best "in ear" headphones?

Is it an Alfa iPod interface? If so, dig out some info and see if it charges the iPod as it plays.

Whilst you're doing that, also look for a list of iPod's the interface supports, for instance, my Alpine CDE-9850Ri supports 3rd generation and up as long as the software is newer than the 22nd of Fed 2005.


To headphones, I'd say the Sony Fontopia set, I would normally of siggested the standard iPod ones, but they hurt like hell the other night.

OK the interface does charge the ipod and supports all ipods since 2003.
