Ipod and Xbox 360

Has anyone had the same problem as me where you have to keep downloading the ipod software from marketplace to listen to tunes?
I have to keep doing this everytime i switch my 360 on?

Nope. Don't think i've ever had to download any software, just plugs in and appears on the list :confused:

Nope, I just downloaded it once to my HDD and it works on all consoles.

Well when i got to play a song it says you cant play this etc etc download the Ipod patch (sorry this is all off the top of my head because im at work

) and then i download it and they play ok again until i switch my xbox off?! its weird?

Both! I might try taking the card out and seeing what happens?! And instead of the ipod name it says audiobooks?
