Initially I could get a good few days out of my ipod, I was happy with the battery life. However, lately I've noticed it getting worse, it seems to run down pretty quickly. As a result, I'm needing to re-charge it more often.

Is this normal? Is there anyway to replace the ipod battery?

I replaced the battery in my old 3G as I really hate the click wheel and didn't want to get a new one.

It's easy to do :) took me about 15 minutes.

What model do you have?

Thanks for the replies! I've got an ipod nano, which seems pretty impossible to open! I've no idea how they do it!

So, I guess if it gets worse, I'll be sending it back for a replacement.

Thanks for that dude. Wrong ipod though! :p That's one of the older versions, I've got a new one. As seen here: http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/

They don't split open.
I knew you'd say that as soon as I watched the vid :p

I believe it's possible with the 5G Nano, but you have to pry it open at the headphone-socket end and it should just slip out from the aluminium casing.

o/t: I checked out your flickr page. Some of the graduate fashion work is pretty good, what Uni is that? Did you participate, or just photograph it?

Its Basingstoke College of Technology's show I am at University College for the Creative Arts - Epsom studying Graphic Design New Media. I personally don't like those image but my it was my sisters show so I though I should have a go. I have done one before aswel. I just was a guest not any thing releated to the show. But thanks for the feedback
