Hi,

I have an IPOD 60g fifth generation.

I have a car adaptor with a audio tape on one side and a wire on the otherside which lets me listen to the ipod in my car...

A friend wants a similar adaptor however he has a cd player inside his car, I cannot seem to find a cd player adaptor for the ipod....is there such a thing?

perhaps theres another way??

please help

thanks in advance...

cheers!!!

Tell me, a cable, a rotating disk, and a tight space. Do these go together well?

He'll need a new headunit, or a FM transmitter and in-car charger.

Edit: You reminded me to visit Sound City more often. :)

(Where this should have been!)

spot on....sorry didnt quite think of it like that...the more i do now, yes it makes total sense..

you dont know where i would get a head unit do you?

previously i had a belkin unit and it was crap hence my above question....

Yup they are legal now, they vary in quality greatly though. If you like yer music you should though the cost isn't that bad.

Private FM broadcasting which is unlicensed I guess..

Headunits are cheap on the bay. Depends how loud you want, if you just want to hear the music you may as well get a reasonable, second hand, fm/cassette, then get a cassette adapter.
Or find one with an aux in (my dad's has a headphone type socket so a male -> male cable plugs into both the HU and the mp3 player)
