I have an ipod classic 80gb, its great and has worked perfect for me. I see that i could get around £120 for it on an auction site.

Is it worth me selling it and getting an Ipod touch 16gb? I have used a few iphones and touches on wireless in USA and love the wireless feature. I dont really need 80gb of music now but also dont know a whole lot about ipod touches

Hi there,

It all depends if you are going to use the extra features really, but tbh, I think 16gb is going to be slightly limiting (depending on what you intend on using it for obviously). Videos are going to take up significantly more space than music, so one you start loading those on the 16gb will soon disappear. The itouch is a brilliant device, i have the 32gb version. However, I will shortly be selling mine because of the poor sound quality. Although I think the 80gb classics have similar sound quality? Someone else might be able to clear this up….

If you are happy with the sound, and think you will use the other features enough to justify the loss in storage then why not?!?! It’s a fab toy! It’s definitely one of the coolest things I’ve ever played with :)

Thumbs up for the iPod Touch here - I have a 32gb one :)
The web browser and Youtube apps are sheer brilliance and battery life for music is excellent :D

If you can live without 80gb of storage then you will love the iPod Touch.
