Ipod classic 80gb?

My g/f is buying me one for christmas, just want to know if there are any known issues with them at the moment. Discuss

There are still some bugs, the most noticeable one at the moment is the endless hard drive spinning bug. This can be avoided if you don't use coverflow or if you don't update the firmware to 1.0.2.

Haven't had a problem at all with mine, battery lasts for ages, coverflow works nicely and the new UI is nice. That's with the latest firmware etc.

Only had the hard drive bug once, ended up resetting it with the Menu + Select button.

Haven't had it since.
