The music in my itunes library has been recorded at different volumes and when I play back through my iPod via the hi-fi in my lounge I have to keep adjusting the volume levels. Is there any way I can globally adjust the volumes of my music library on the pc so that everything is copied across at the same volume?

On iTunes, right click the tracks, click Get Info and change the volume at the bottom, that should do it.

Either that or it's the tracks themselves.

Thanks Jihad. I sort of new about that feature but hadn't realised you can select multiple tracks and and adjust the volume of all of them in one go.

Try this. You'll also need to switch Sound Check 'on' in the Settings menu on the iPod itself.
