ipod crossplatform charging ??

hi guys got an 80gb ipod that i love to bits and was wondering instead of me paying over the odds for the proper ipod charging kit is it possible to use my sony walkman one instead its just a usb box thats got a cable for the mains and usb port on the other side which i can put my ipod cable in the reason i ask is that am on my hols soon in greece and i dont want to take my whole speaker thing with me :confused:

dunno seems a bit dodgy, wouldn't try it myself

oh and mate it's quite hard to read your post try adding some line breaks and full stops.

had to do it in a rush as my gf needed the computer
