Oh dear, i've got a bad feeling my old iPod is on it's way out
A couple of weeks ago it totally froze on me. I managed to nurse it back to health with a combination of Restore/Reset (etc.) and went to upload all my music back onto it. It started off ok, but every now and again iTunes (and my PC) would freeze for a couple of minutes or so (the iPod's harddrive clicks
) and then carry on transferring. After a few times of this happening, it eventually gives up and i get this error:
So today i tried formatting the iPod in Windows and Restoring it. This worked fine and so i began to transfer my music across again. Unfortunately the same thing keeps happening
Any ideas? Is the HDD on it's way out or is there anything else i can try?
Thanks.
